There will always be a free tier. Optional paid tiers may be introduced in the future, and the exact structure is currently being developed.
At the moment, Keith Lesser (Vegan Accountants UK) has started the community and brought on board Sue Joyce (Little Green Pigeon) to support.
Within 4 days of launch, we have 63 members and are planning for 100 by the end of June, 200 by the end of July, and onward from there.
The community is currently announcement-only. We want to use the directness of WhatsApp for communication without the noisy group chat drawbacks. It's unlikely that there will be lots of open group chats, but we will explore other ways for the community to connect and flourish.
Yes, it will continue to be global. However, we'll also look at creating country and regional groups for those who want to do business locally—while still supporting those not limited by geography.

We will endeavour to keep the membership vegan-only from an individual point of view. We don't expect vegans to be supporting non-vegan causes. The business itself does not need to be exclusively vegan (e.g., an SEO business), but the focus is on the individual behind it—someone living a vegan lifestyle and wishing to connect with other vegans in a business context.
